Client Area

How do I log in to the Client Area?

Go to the Padroni Hosting website and click Client Area. Use the email address linked to your account and your client password to log in.

What if I forgot my Client Area password?

Click Forgot Password on the Client Area login screen and follow the reset steps. If you do not receive the reset email, contact Padroni Hosting support.

What can I do in the Client Area?

You can view services, domains, invoices, account details, and support options linked to your Padroni Hosting account.

What is web hosting?

Web hosting is the service that stores your website files and makes them available online. Without hosting, visitors cannot access your website.

What is the difference between normal hosting and reseller hosting?

Normal hosting is usually used for one website, business, or email setup. Reseller hosting is designed for agencies, developers, IT providers, or businesses that need to manage multiple client hosting accounts.

What happens if my hosting is suspended?

Your website, email, or related services may stop working. Contact Padroni Hosting support as soon as possible so we can check the reason and advise the next step.

Can I upgrade my hosting package?

Yes. If your website, email, storage, or resource usage grows, Padroni Hosting can advise on a suitable package upgrade or alternative hosting solution.

Domains & DNS

What is a domain name?

A domain name is your website address, such as yourbusiness.co.za. It is used to help people find your website and can also be used for business email.

What is an EPP code?

An EPP code is an authorisation code used to approve a domain transfer. It helps confirm that the transfer is authorised by the domain holder.

How long do DNS or nameserver changes take?

DNS and nameserver changes can take time to update across the internet. Some updates happen quickly, but propagation can take up to 24–48 hours in some cases.

Can Padroni Hosting help with DNS records?

Yes. Padroni Hosting can assist with A records, CNAME records, MX records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, nameserver updates, and general domain pointing issues.

Email

Why is my email not sending?

Email sending issues can be caused by incorrect settings, password problems, mailbox limits, DNS records, spam blocks, or authentication issues such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

Why am I not receiving emails?

Receiving issues can be caused by full mailboxes, incorrect MX records, spam filtering, incorrect settings, expired domains, suspended hosting, or server-side routing problems.

Can Padroni Hosting help set up email on Outlook or mobile?

Padroni Hosting can provide the correct email settings and general setup guidance. Device menus and mail apps differ, so phone-specific troubleshooting may fall outside standard support.

Where can I find the email setup guide?

You can use the Email Setup Guide on this website for general IMAP and SMTP settings, including mobile, Outlook, and mail app setup guidance.

Website Design

What is included in a website design package?

Website packages may include page setup, mobile-friendly layout, contact forms, basic SEO setup, content placement, launch support, and one month of free basic support.

Do website packages include hosting and domain registration?

Website design packages do not automatically include domain registration or hosting unless stated otherwise. These services can be arranged separately.

Do you build eCommerce websites?

eCommerce websites are quoted separately because they usually require more setup, product pages, payment options, shipping settings, and additional functionality.

Technical Support

Do you offer once-off technical support?

Yes. Padroni Hosting offers once-off support for individual issues such as website troubleshooting, email setup, DNS checks, cPanel or konsoleH guidance, and basic remote PC software support.

What is included in the Maintenance Plan?

The Maintenance Plan covers general IT support for up to 6 working devices and up to 6 support hours per month, where remote assistance is possible. Additional work is billed separately.

Do you support phones?

Padroni Hosting does not offer mobile phone-specific support as a standard service because devices, apps, and settings vary widely. General email settings can be provided where possible.

Billing

What reference should I use when paying?

Please use your invoice number or account reference as the payment reference so your payment can be allocated correctly and quickly.

What happens if my invoice is overdue?

Services may be suspended if invoices remain unpaid. Contact Padroni Hosting support before the due date if you need assistance with your billing arrangement.

Where can I view my invoices?

You can view invoices through the Client Area linked to your Padroni Hosting account.

How does Padroni Hosting handle client information?

Padroni Hosting handles client information responsibly and uses it only where necessary for service delivery, account management, billing, support, communication, and related business purposes.

How do I submit a privacy or personal information request?

You can email support@padroni.info with your full name, contact details, the account or domain the request relates to, and a clear description of your request.

For security reasons, Padroni Hosting may need to verify your identity before releasing, correcting, or deleting any personal information.
